Benny is a supporting character who appears in the 6th episode of DiC's Care Bears series, "Soap Box Derby". Along with his friend Willis, he is a conniving boy who took part in a soap box derby race, and was not above cheating to win. He has a rivalry with two girls named Kathy and Tricia.

Taking part in a soap box derby race with a high-end car that his friend Willis' father bought for him, Benny was confident that they could win against all the other kids' shoddy, self-made racers. That is, until the Care Bears showed up to help two girls named Kathy and Tricia get back in the competition after their vehicle experienced a breakdown. Not wanting to hurt their chances at victory, the boys decided to cheat by laying traps around the raceway.
During the race itself, the girls' car is able to deftly avoid all the hazards set by their rivals with the Care Bear's help. Willis and Benny actually end up falling for one of their own traps that sends them off the road and into a lake, and are subsequently rescued by the very girls they were competing against.
