The Great Wishing Star is a large star who serves as the narrator in Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation.
Appearances
Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation
He first appears after helping a horse and a bear (along with the Care Bear Cubs and Cousin Cubs) escape Dark Heart by pulling their boat out from the water. He tells them that their love and kindness for others is so great that it sets them apart from the rest of the world, and that they should help others share to their feelings and protect them from Dark Heart's evil. He gives them the names "True Heart Bear" and "Noble Heart Horse", and gives them and the baby Care Bears and Cousins their tummy symbols.
He then appears again at the end of the film, telling the audience that he is happy that there are other people in the world that care and that they're not afraid to share their feelings, and that's what makes them a world-class "Care Bear Champ".
