There are still a few deleted Care Bear pages from a previous wave of vandalism (when an editor turned every single Care Bear page into talk pages, but a FANDOM staff member accidently deleted many pages after I reported it. Can you try and fix it all?
1. Can you unprotect the Funshine Bear page? I want to swap the current image for his Unlock the Magic look.
2. Are you able to make me a moderator or administrator? I was thinking of changing the look of the wiki to fit more with the Unlock the Magic series, considering the wiki is still themed to Welcome to Care-A-Lot/Care Bears & Cousins.
And plus, I think you're the only admin here, which means if you were inactive from the Wiki for a while it could be a good victim for vandals or trolls (as I've seen on other wikis before with a lack of Admin activity) and I usually tend to do well with sorting out these kind of people.
If you're fine with trying to help out with the wiki on your own, that's okay with me.
I like your rendition of the new Wiki logo! That's the first part done.
The Wiki background I think could stay the same, as it does feel a bit "Unlock the Magic"-ish.
Next up, the "Meet the Bears" - Which the "Welcome to Care-a-Lot" selection will have to be replaced with the "Unlock the Magic" selection - the main 5 (Cheer, Grumpy, Share, Funshine, Good Luck) and the Caring Control group (Tenderheart, Wish and Bedtime) (Love-a-Lot and Harmony do appear in UTM, but the only official artwork of them I have is from an Instagram post from ages ago.)
And as for Dibble, i'm not sure where she'll have to go, even though she's a main character.
In fact, maybe unprotect the homepage since i'm not a moderator yet so I can refresh it so you don't have to do all the work.
with w:c:WelcomeToCareAlot and w:c:UnlockTheMagic do you think the main focus would be the toys and original 80s cartoon? I am wondering if there would be some way for them to affiliate them in a trio hub.
Also curious if you thought it might be feasible these are somehow sequels/prequels. The villains seem different in all 3 shows but perhaps there could be a way to explain that.
The Care-a-Lots we see in all 3 series are vastly different, and that being coupled with the Beastly debacle leads me to believe that they take elements from past series, but they aren't all in the same canon, so to speak.
Care-A-Lot could've possible gone through changes (been remodeled, rebuilt, destroyed, relocated, etc) so we might come up with explanations for that...
It's actually not entirely clear to me how long care bears live... but I seem to recall something in The Sleeping Giant (can't seem to find a transcript to verify) where the giant sleeps 100 years at a time... so we do know long-lived beings can exist.
So for all I know, Classic / Adventures / Unlock might take place decades/centuries/millenia apart.
I would probably place Adventures/Classic somewhat close together due to human society not having changed very much based on what we can see of it.
The absence of Hugs/Tugs so far in Unlock the Magic is what leads me to think Prequel. Grams Bear is probably absent too... though it makes me wonder, wouldn't she possibly be called something else other than "Grams" prior to Hugs/Tugs existing? Before she became a grandmother?
Do you know any bears absent in the 80s series who were present in either Adventures/Unlock who might have become Grams later?
Beastly might perhaps be some kind of inherited title, like Shredder in TMNT where multiple characters have adopted it? Or how "heart" is shared by No Heart and Professor Coldheart
Would you be willing to change the theme of this wiki to fit more in-line with Unlock the Magic? I've started changing the character pages (except for Funshine, as that's protected) but i'm asking if you could change the home page to include the main Bears of Unlock the Magic (Cheer, Share, Grumpy, Funshine and Good Luck, alongside Tenderheart, Bedtime and Wish), because the home page still displays the main Bears from Welcome to Care-a-Lot/Care Bears and Cousins.
