The Birthday is the second part of the 1st episode of Care Bears.
Synopsis[]
Matthew Miller is upset when (to him) his parents forgot his birthday because of his new baby sister Lisa; out of anger (and a little persuasion from his friend Eddie), they plan on wrecking the house. With a little help from the Care Bears, Matthew learns the joy of having a baby sister.

- Cheer’s incorrect prediction of Matthew of being happy about the arrival of a baby sister.
- The Care Bears and Cousins running past Birthday Bear, who was about to follow them, but Lotsa Heart uses Her nose to pull Birthday by the throat, and runs past. Birthday Bear says something, and follows the others riding on cloud cars and Lotsa Heart on a wind-powered vehicle.

Trivia[]
- In the baby's room, a plushie can be seen of the comic character Heathcliff. At the time this series was being produced, DiC Entertainment were also making a cartoon of said character.
